The Promise of Renewable Energy Sources and the Challenge of Energy Efficiency

Organized under the auspices of the Minister of Development, this session will examine the potential for the production of RES in Greece, the present status of the market from a regulatory and investment perspective as well as its dynamic evolution. Special emphasis will be given to the wind, solar, and biomass/biofuels sectors as well as the crucial, yet often undervalued, parameter of energy efficiency and conservation.
